How to Install Tunnel Traffic Signals (Red cross Green Arrow Signals)
1. Product Overview
Red cross Green Arrow Lane Indicator is a type of traffic signal commonly seen on highways, especially at toll booths and tunnels. As essential traffic safety equipment, it acts as a lane control stop light to ensure smooth traffic flow. This device can be categorized into lane indicators, toll booth signals, and tunnel signals. Its display consists of a red cross and a green arrow: When the green arrow light is on, it indicates that vehicles are allowed to proceed. When the red cross light is on, it signals that vehicles must stop and not enter the lane.
2. Product Types
Current Red Cross Green Arrow Lane Indicators come in two types: Clear lens type and Pixel Cluster type. GA Traffic supplies both types.
Clear lens type:
- LEDs: Use high-brightness Epistar green LEDs (520-530nm wavelength).
- The PCB board is seamlessly crafted with good consistency.
- Series-parallel circuitry prevents cascading LED failures.
- Sizes: D200mm, D300mm, 400x400mm, 600x600mm.
- Lightweight and portable.
Pixel Cluster type:
- LEDs: Same green LEDs as above.
- Triple-protection coating (silicone conformal coating) resists moisture, salt spray, static, and mold.
- Low power consumption with multi-layer sealing for reliability.
- 400×400mm, 600×600mm, and custom sizes can be produced based on requirements.
3. Installation Methods
1) L-Shaped Bracket Installation
(1) Sun visor Mount: Align trapezoidal bracket holes with lamp holes. Secure with M4 screws.
(2) Hanging pole: Attach signal light to the bottom M12 holes using spring washers and M12 studs.
2) Hanging Installation
Connect the upper and middle brackets with M16x35 bolts. Adjust the lower bracket length as needed. Use M12x80 bolts to fix the assembled bracket to the needed location. Secure the indicator with four M12x25 bolts.
