Transform Your Traffic Management with Illuminated Traffic Poles
Illuminated modules on a traffic-signal pole can provide supplementary visual information. Their suitability depends on the primary signals, the road environment and the approved operating arrangement. They do not replace the required visibility or meaning of the main signal heads.
Keep the primary signal authoritative
Check that the supplementary light remains consistent with the main signal and does not create an ambiguous indication. Visibility from different approaches, nearby signs and surrounding lighting must be assessed.
Extra illuminated area does not guarantee visibility through every obstruction or in all weather. The signal-head position and sight lines still need to meet the project requirements.
Check the mechanical fit for a retrofit
The existing description presents modular sections that can be combined. Confirm the dimensions and the supported pole geometry for the offered version. A no-drill fixing method is not necessarily compatible with every pole.
Request the mounting details, load requirements, cable routing and maintenance access. The suitability of an existing support must be checked before describing the retrofit as simple or low cost.
Match the power and synchronisation method
The versions described include different AC or DC supplies. Confirm the equipment rating and model-specific wiring diagram; a list of supply options does not mean a single module accepts every voltage.
Define how the supplementary modules follow the main signal, and how loss of control or power is handled. Compatibility must be confirmed for the controller and signal outputs involved.
Prepare an application review
Provide pole dimensions, installation height, site photographs, available supply and the proposed control method. Request the documentation for the exact model and approval for the intended use.
